During the visit, we’ll discuss everything from layout and structural landscaping to design styles, plant preferences, and decorative features. We also assess the health and sustainability of your existing plants, and provide recommendations for new planting, garden styling, irrigation, drainage, and pest control. We’ll also talk through your budget and any other improvements you’d like to make.

After the consultation, you’ll receive a personalised client brief and mood board to help you visualise your ideal garden. We’ll also prepare a detailed design fee proposal based on the scale and scope of your project.

Once the design proposal is accepted, we begin the exciting process of transforming your outdoor space. Starting with a thorough site assessment and the insights gathered during your consultation, we develop a concept plan that’s completely unique to you and your property.

This tailored design considers every detail—from your home’s architecture and topography to soil conditions, existing vegetation, sunlight, and aspect. The concept plan outlines the layout and overall vision, serving as the foundation for your new garden.

To help you visualise your garden, we can provide 3D renders of key areas (available as an optional extra). We also create mood boards along with curated planting and materials palettes. From there, we continue developing a fully detailed and scaled landscape design that captures your style, suits your lifestyle, and makes the most of your outdoor space.

We prepare comprehensive plans that include all structural features, with accurate measurements and dimensions. Your planting plan will include a full plant schedule with botanical names, sizes, quantities, and location. Additional plans—such as lighting, irrigation, and drainage layouts—are developed to support the overall design and functionality of the space.

Throughout the entire process, we offer ongoing support—from design through to construction. We coordinate closely with our recommended landscaping team, conduct site visits, and ensure that every detail is delivered to the highest standard.

At the end, you’ll receive a final landscape plan that captures all of our collaborative ideas—ready for quoting and construction.
If you don’t yet have a landscaper, we’re happy to connect you with our trusted network of skilled professionals to bring your new garden to life.
