Bracken Ridge

This breathtaking property is now the talk of the neighborhood thanks to the major renovation that elevated it form a rather unremarkable red brick home to a Hamptons style haven.

The client brief was to design a garden that the young family could use for entertaining and enjoy as a family for years to come. The entire landscape was transformed to frame the house perfectly.

Beautiful ivory travertine tiles were used on the entrance and open patio, and they replaced the old red bricks around the pool.  Located to the side of the hose a striking batten pergola was designed and built to extend the entertaining area and to add privacy to a formally lacklustre space. Raised stone cladded garden beds and jasmine cross wire trellis line the boundary lines.

The backyard was given a complete make over with a new vegetable garden, a raised garden bed and timber seating for a casual fire pit zone.

Throughout, the palette of plants was chosen to match the client’s style and to tie in with the new house renovations.

This carefully conceived design has brough about a tola transformation.
