This beautiful new home in Carina deserved an outdoor space to match its striking architecture. With a blank canvas to work from, we had the opportunity to create a cohesive and seamless design tailored to the Young family’s lifestyle.

They envisioned a family-friendly backyard featuring a pool, outdoor kitchen, and flat lawn areas for the kids to play. The pool was thoughtfully designed with a raised custom planter box, elegant French-pattern silver travertine tiles, and low-maintenance artificial turf with bespoke steppers for a clean, modern finish.

New Colorbond fencing and coastal-style plantings completed the transformation, delivering a stylish, low-maintenance landscape that perfectly complements the home.

The striking French-pattern travertine not only adds visual interest but also performs beautifully underfoot—cool to the touch and naturally slip-resistant. The clever integration of glass balustrades around the pool ensures uninterrupted views and a sense of openness while maintaining safety for the family’s young children.

Complementing the poolscape, the tropical plant selections bring movement, texture, and a splash of colour to the otherwise crisp, structured layout. Set against the backdrop of rich blue mosaic pool tiles and architectural fencing, the landscape now radiates balance, warmth, and everyday livability.
